Beamr to Present JPEGmini at Mobile Photo Connect on September 29

But what you may not know is that in addition to developing Beamr Video – aimed at better delivery of over-the-top streaming content to mobile and broadband connected consumers – the team behind Beamr is also responsible for JPEGmini, the highly acclaimed photo optimizer.
Currently in use by many social networks, photo sharing platforms and e-commerce websites, including Groupon Japan and Netflix, JPEGmini is capable of reducing the size of JPEG images by up to 80 percent without affecting image quality.
Recognizing the need to optimize the delivery and storage of photos in an era of exponential increase in visual social communication, our President, Eliezer (Eli) Lubitch, will be presenting our suite of media optimization tools, including JPEGmini and Beamr Video, at the annual Mobile Photo Connect conference on September 29 in San Francisco.
The key gathering for executives and entrepreneurs in the mobile photography ecosystem, Mobile Photo Connect attracts over 150 photo app developers, imaging companies, mobile vendors and other industry participants from Asia, Europe and the Americas.
Eli is scheduled to give a presentation during Session III of the “Show and Tell” portion of the program running form 2:50 PM – 3:30 PM PST.
